Hello native speakers, I have a random and possibly stupid question for you
So you're reading a novel as in the picture, you get to the underlined sentence, do you read it as "she spotted thirty five forty eight..." Or "she spotted three thousand five hundred forty eight" or even "three five four eight" I know it may be a very dumb question, but where I live address numbers never reach four digits, also it's 3.20 am and I'm tired, and a bit distracted, even though I could have (and possibly should have) known it was an address by the context, it slipped my mind and only got back to me at the word "curb", so I read it as the whole "three thousand..." And for some reason it sounded very weird to me, maybe I'm just tripping and need to go to sleep lol. Also does it vary depending on if you're in the US, GB, etc?

Why is the answer to Question 20 not “A”?
I thought he is fast because he was running?

someone please explain this to me😭
this is the second time i've made this exact same mistake before but like i don't get it, why is it "are having"?

Does this handwriting look readable to you? Because I would’ve barely understood a word if I didn’t know the context. And still I can barely read a half of it

How would you call that type of reckless driving ?
In Russian it's called "checkers" , the closest alternative in English slang I could find was "hoon" but it doest quite match the meaning.
How can I pronounce “15” and “50” so that Siri understands me?
Hi redditors! This is my first post in Reddit. I come from East Asia, I want to master essential English for studying in America or the EU. Since I don’t have many opportunities to speak English, I choose Siri as my language partner. I set my Siri language as English (UK), and I try to give voice commands to Siri in English. Currently I am a master student in medicine, I need use timers in my experiments always. But, almost every time I say “set a timer for 50 minutes “, Siri set a timer for 15 minutes instead. This made me crazy! I’ve tried pronounced the last syllable clearly by really highlighting the ‘teeeeeeeen’ sound instead of ‘ti’ sound, but Siri still can’t understand me. This also happens with the number 16, 17, 18, 19. What should I do? How to improve English? Many friends say I sound like Japanese when I speak English.

Isn't E also correct here?
I think "she" and "her" might be referring to different persons so with E this also seem a correct sentence.
