Finesse isn't really slang. The definitions given are all great.
It originally meant delicate or pure from the French word "fine" which means thin most of the time.
Finesse as a verb means to deceive basically and has a negative connotation.
"With finesse" however is very positive and means done to perfection or with a high level of excellence.

Finesse has a few definitions, some older than others. But as far as slang goes, it means to skillfully persuade or deceive someone, usually without their knowledge.
For a sentence, there's not a very easy way to put it. Or maybe I'm just old. But you can essentially use it anywhere you would use "diceve" or "trick"

To finesse someone is kind of like out-smarting them in a way that benefits yourself. Maybe you finessed them into business agreement. It's almost never good for the person being 'finessed'

Implies the use of subtlety and skill. I don’t think it always implies deception as some are suggesting.

The word “finesse” isn’t slang. It’s an official normal word. It means what the dictionaries all say it means.

i'm not sure if the way i use it counts as slang. but for me it means using any kind of cleverness or mental/social/street skills to achieve something rather than brute force.
it's not always negative in my mind. it's a french word that means "fineness". you can finesse your way out of a difficult situation, or into a good one.

In slang, it’s like cunning delicacy in pursuit of social manipulation to achieve a goal. But it’s not necessarily malicious. Like, it might take a lot of finesse to delicately persuade your mom that you should be allowed to borrow her car for a trip with your friends.

I've heard it used in slang to mean "steal".

In the card game bridge, a finesse play is one where you attempt to take a trick by playing a card that is not the highest one, in the hopes that the opposition cannot beat it. It's not really a slang word as far as I know.
In general, it means to use subtlety and skill, as opposed to brute force, to achieve a goal.

Example: I was trying to bend some aluminum sheet metal, but instead of using the bending machine (which would do too much and require a lot of math), I "finessed" the corners with a hammer.
In other words, to do just enough that it's where you need it.
That's one example but it could be used differently.

Skill, efficiency, Swagger, sauce.
Manipulation or trickery but not really associated with malicious intent.
Eg hakeem dream shake is finesse. Finishing at the rim from a hard drive playing basketball to a soft touch is finesse.
Charisma may incorporate finesse. Getting a girl/ a date, scoring a hook up, flirting etc.
Basically it broadly means skillful manipulation of something, someone or an idea.
