Please rate my accent

Professional_Drag953
Hi, is my accent clear enough for native speakers? What sounds should I work on the most to improve clarity? Also, feel free to guess where I’m originally from! Here’s the recording: https://voca.ro/1bl9doJOWXa0

You speak clearly, and no one would have trouble understanding you. It doesn't sound native, but you do not have a thick accent.

On the pronunciation of "human", you are saying "hyuu-MUN", but you should put emphasis on the first syllable, and change the vowel sound of the second syllable to "min", so "HYUU-min". And for "This", you're saying "Deess". You need to clearly form the "th" consonant sound and use the /ɪ/ vowel. Replacing /ɪ/ for /iː/ is a classic mistake for many non-native speakers, because /iː/ is the standard way to sound an "i" vowel in many languages. On "bodies", you're saying "bod-izz" but it should be "BOD-eez". Based on the accent I'm going to guess you're Austrian, or some kind of Eastern European. These accents are very familiar to most English speakers and would not be a barrier to understanding at all.

Are you from a Spanish-speaking South American country?
