What do you mean by "tell me your comment"? We're not going to do your writing assignment for you; you're supposed to write your own thoughts / ideas on this topic. What kind of help are you actually looking for? Can you tell us any more about this assignment, like what form, how long, etc?

He's a genocidal villain.
But I'm not doing your homework

Do you want us to comment on whether your question looks correct grammatically, or do you want our opinion on whether Columbus was a villain or hero? Grammatically it looks almost perfect, except you would add the word "about" between "write" and "whether." As far as my opinion, I feel it's hard to argue with the fact that he was a pretty bad fellow who did a lot of really bad things. Maybe that makes him a villain and maybe not, but certainly that stops him from being a hero.

Just explain he is a hero for some and a villain for others and give some references. I don't think you need to give your opinion

If you're seeking to actually do a thorough assignment, the thing to do would be to read Columbus's journals and some modern works on Columbus. You can put a hold on books at your library, at least if you're in an English-speaking country.
Here's [a good post on this topic](https://www.reddit.com/r/AskHistorians/comments/q6ay21/did_christopher_columbus_do_all_that_bad_stuff/), including sources. Just reading those posts and the Wikipedia article will be the lazy man's way to do the assignment, and it will give you some food for thought at least. Setting aside the conclusion of [this article](https://www.chieftain.com/story/opinion/editorials/2020/07/07/was-columbus-really-that-bad-no-he-was-worse/42256475/)'s title, it has some quotes from Columbus's journals that will also give you something to weigh.
His "heroism" mainly lies in his responsibility for connecting the Old World and the New World, which is certainly important but not of a particularly moral nature; his "villainy" mainly lies in his mistreatment of the peoples indigenous to the Americas.

The wikipedia article for Christopher Columbus gives a general overview of his life and actions, and there are various reputable sources in the bibliography of the page. I would start there.
If you’re just asking for our opinions on Columbus, this isn’t really the right subreddit to ask. Try r/history or r/askreddit.
If you’re trying to get help getting started writing an essay for a college-level English class and don’t know how, you’re probably in over your head and should contact your professor or an academic advisor to discuss options.

Spaniard here. Columbus is not seen here as a hero.
He did a enormous feat with the funding of the crow of Castille, resulting in globalization and make Spain one of the largest empires ever.
