Same as the title. I sometimes stutter or become very nervous when speaking in English. Additionally, there are many things I wish to write and express, but I lack the refined vocabulary, as English is my second language.

Improving your English speaking and writing skills takes time and practice, but there are several strategies you can employ to make the process more efficient: For Speaking: Practice with native speakers.- Engaging in conversations with native English speakers will help you improve your fluency, pronunciation, and listening skills. Record yourself.- Record your speaking practice to identify areas that need improvement, such as pronunciation, intonation, and fluency. Break down complex words.- Divide longer words into syllables and practice pronouncing each syllable clearly to improve your overall word pronunciation. Slow down.- Focus on speaking at a comfortable pace to avoid stuttering or stumbling over your words. Practice tongue twisters.- These wordplay exercises can help improve your pronunciation and enunciation of challenging sounds. Join speaking groups or clubs.- Toastmasters or other speaking groups can provide a supportive environment for you to practice your public speaking skills. For Writing: Read extensively.- Read various materials such as books, articles, and academic papers to expose yourself to different writing styles and vocabulary. Keep a journal.- Write daily to practice your writing skills and experiment with new vocabulary. Use online resources.- Tools like Grammarly and Hemingway Editor can help identify grammar and syntax errors and suggest improvements. Learn Greek and Latin prefixes and suffixes.- Understanding common prefixes and suffixes can help you decipher the meaning of unfamiliar words and expand your vocabulary. Learn root words.- Root words are the building blocks of many English words, so understanding them can help you decipher and understand new words. Take online courses or workshops.- Many platforms offer courses that focus on English writing skills, grammar, and vocabulary. Remember that consistency is key when it comes to improving any skill. Dedicate time each day to practice speaking and writing in English, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes—they’re an essential part of the learning process. Good luck!

I learned a lot of vocab through a small English Honors class vocab book. We had a test every week on 10 different words that we had to learn. You could grab a book like that perhaps
