Is there a rule about where to place "by + agent" in a passive sentence?
xversion1
I wonder if there is any rule that make the position of "by + agent" is always wrong? Or it can be placed anywhere (from after the verb to the end of the sentence)?

It normally comes after the verb but there are probably some exceptions. âThe art was made by AIâ, âthe book was written by her friendâ, etc. It would sound unnatural to say something like âby Tim the dinner was cookedâ or âthe dinner by Tim was cookedâ

Henry and Jimmy demanding Bookie for money:
\[JIMMY\] We will throw the bastard to the lions.
\[HENRY\] Lions? I wasn't going near any lions!
\[JIMMY\] Throw him over the moat.
\[BOOKIE\] I will get the money!
Then Henry starts narrating the below lines:
\[HENRY\] They must really feed each other to the lions...âcause he gave the money right up.
What does "each other" mean ?
I got banned here, cant able to post new one.

For clarity it will often be best to put + agent right after the verb, especially in a sentence with subordinate clauses. However, you may have other options :
- He was born on a hot day in July, by Caesarian section
Or
- He was born by Caesarian section on a hot day in July
Both are correct and in my view the difference between them is about emphasis and style.
