Past tense verbs for swim, run, and jump.
UncleToyBox
I've always been confused by the past tense for jump.
After you swim, you say that you swam.
After you run, you say that you ran.
After you jump, I would think that you jamp.
Why do we replace the 'i' and 'u' with an 'a' for swim and run, but not jump?
