Depressed can be an adjective, so, I'd say yes.

"Depressed words" is not something people usually say. We say someone is depressed, or someone feels depressed, but not really "depressed words." You can understand what you mean - words that sound sad or show sadness - but it's just not how English speakers normally talk about words. It's better to say "sad words" or "unhappy words." If you want to show a deeper sadness, you could say "words of sadness," "words of despair," or "words filled with depression." These all describe words that express sad feelings in a clearer way. "Depressed" is better used to describe people or their feelings, not words themselves. So, while understandable, "depressed words" is not natural English.

Yes! Depressed can be used as an adjective so the sentence is fine.

This is grammatically correct, depressed is an adjective, but it's not common parlance, "words of depression" would probably sound more natural.

Technically it works, because "depressed" is an adjective, but it would be considered an unusual way to express the idea. The word "depressed" is usually only applied to people. Do you mean that the person speaking sounds depressed? A native speaker would just say that.

Depressing words. They make the listener depressed. Depressed is that of a person (or some other living being I suppose)

It \*technically\* works, but it could even come off as offensive in some weird cases. I would say his '***depressing***' words.

"I listened to his depress**ing** words" sounds much more natural, implying that the speaker's words cause you to feel depressed.
