Is my English good enough? Be honest

ResidentAlien_
I want to start creating content on social media in the opinion niche about the US because I love America. I’m from Spain, Europe so I don’t know if I should do the content in English (with my accent) or in Spanish (my native language). This is how my voice sounds in English: https://voca.ro/1124jW041LnB

Your English is excellent, your accent is nice. Parts are super clear, just a couple *tiny* things you can try to improve... I know this is kind of tough in a lot of languages, but B vs V - when you said "viewers" I heard it as "b-words" and a bit later when you said "vocabulary" I heard "bocabulary." It's not a big deal, I figured it out, just a point of potential improvement since it might make some words harder to understand down the road. The other thing is around 0:58 you said something, which I could not decipher. "This kind of content" maybe? But overall really nice! Edit: it was "If I create content with this __?__ level" which I couldn't understand.

Sounds more than good enough to me, especially if you’re able or willing to write out scripts ahead of time or edit your videos to make sure everything sounds as good as possible. I can’t speak for other Americans or English speakers, probably lots of people get bothered by any noticeable accent in their videos. But it sounds fine to me! Give it a shot, and if you’re interested in doing stuff in both languages then why not set up two channels? Anyway good luck, you sound great to me

Almost no one in the US cares about accents, especially a native Spanish accent. You may get a troll comment from time to time, but I can assure you that there are tons of very popular influencers, actors, and even politicians who are not native English speakers. People tend to love accents. Think about Arnold Schwarzenegger

Please do English! An accent is a problem only if it precludes understanding (or I guess you're doing something specifically related to speech or language). Yours is clearl and comprehensible. There's little wrong with your grammar/expression itself. Sure, there might be a slip up here or there, but that happens with most non-native presenters (you remind me of the Portuguese General Knowledge a bit, tbh). You also have an accent that might even get bonus points for being charming or pleasant to listen to. Nobody is going to struggle to understand you. The only thing holding you back might be you. If you are not confident or comfortable trying to express your opinions in English, then that could be an issue. You didn't give us a sample of you attempting to talk about any of your subject matter. Maybe if your vocabulary or rhetoric (depending on the topic) isn't well developed, that could stop you. I think you should be confident in English, though. If you're just concerned bout speaking English and being understood, you really have nothing to worry about!

Your accent is fine, to me as a Brit. You have one of course, but it's very clear. You could work here no problem, you are pretty fluent.

You sound perfectly understandable and definitely speak well enough to make content - *however* I would highly recommend adding subtitles to any videos you make. Even most native speakers add subtitles to their videos these days because content consumers are just that lazy

I actually think not only is your accent not intrusive or detracting from what you're saying, but you have what I would call a "YouTuber" or public speaking appropriate voice. Good energy, good cadence, good stress on most words. Yeah you definitely have an accent but you sound like a few YouTubers I'm already subscribed to (in a good way). Go for it!

You're definitely accented, but it's a nice accent and you're perfectly understandable (to me at least, pacific northwest american).

I love that accent and I’m pretty sure everyone who speaks English will be able to understand you

You absolutely can make content in English. You have great fluency and your accent isn't a problem at all for understanding you. In fact, Americans will probably like your accent if anything! To be honest we kind of romanticize those romance language accents of Spanish, Italian, and French. Personally I love the Spanish (from Spain) accent the most, it just sounds so nice.

Your accent is pleasant to listen to. I would encourage you to speak in English if you want to make America-centered content, but if you choose to speak Spanish just make sure there are decent captions for your audience.

Your accent is cool. English IMO is a bit different then say Russian (I'm learning russian) because no one even thinks about accent with English but the *very few people* I've tried talking russian to, always bring up my accent. -- I say this because I'd never personally bring up their accent or anyone's accent in English. So I'm guessing with some languages it's not as big of a deal as others. -- you sound like alot of other English speakers who learned the language. I understand EVERYTHING you said on your voice recording perfectly fine. Only criticism I'd have is, I've heard people say "niche" almost like it's spelled "neesh" not "nictch" as you kind of said it. (But I'm from a area with a very specific dialect of English so I could be wrong with how I am saying niche)
