Gray is used in the US, Grey used in other English speaking countries to my knowledge. Both are pronounced the same.

Either works. I use them interchangeably honestly.

Doesn’t matter

I thought this was a joke sub so I almost put græy lol. But those are two different spellings, US and the England one I think, nobody really notices anyway, it’s a weird word.

It's grAy in America, grEy in England (or Everywhere Else)
Liwi808•
Gray 95% of the time. Grey when I want to make something gray feel fancier than it is.
honeypup•
I spell it “gray” because I think it looks cooler and I want to be different lol
Terminator7786•
It's gray in the US, but grey in other English speaking countries. That said, as an American, grey is better than gray.
MrsPedecaris•
Both. At least both are equally acceptable in USA.

A lot of Canadians will go back and forth because our English spelling generally follows British but we are exposed to a lot of American media so we see American spellings

I like what I saw once: Gray is a color while grey is a colour.
anomalogos•
When I played Among Us, both ‘grey’ and ‘gray’ appeared in the chat.

Even though one spelling is American and the other British, they are completely interchangeable. Use either.
