off would be the correct term
it implies that you were on the bike and fell "off" of it
down would imply you fell then subsequently went down something, like a hill

I fell **off** my bike.
I fell **down**.
I fell **over**.
I **came off** my bike.
I **stacked it**. (Aus)

off. "I fell off my bike". you could also say "I fell down from ..." but that would not be common usage with a bike, and all the cases that are coming to my mind, "I fell off" is more idiomatic.

You mean English has offshoot dialects all over the world and they aren’t all the same as the continuing evolution of actual English in England.

Off, you can fall down stairs, or down a hole, but off a bike horse or balcony

Fall off the bike
Fall down.
You wouldn’t use *down* with a thing you fell from; just by itself.

Off, but it really should include the word "of" as well to make it proper. "I fell *off of* my bike"

Off. He was on his bike, then he fell off (because on and off are opposites)

I got on the bike.
I fell off my bike.
I got up the stairs.
I fell down the stairs.
If you're confused about something like this try forming a sentence performing the opposite of the action described.

You get off and on a bike (or a horse). You get in and out a car. You go up and down stairs.

I think I might actually go for “I fell on my bike”
Fell off implies falling removed you from you bike. But in my experience, when you fall on your bike it also falls on you.
In this case, I think “I fell on my bike” would be understood as “I fell while I was on my bike”. Like in the previous paragraph I said “my bike fell on me” means “my bike fell and landed on top of me”. So that was a pun, hope it wasn’t confusing.

I’ve been a cycle commuter since 1992. Recently I bought an e-bike. Learning to get on and off the thing is different, very different. I fell and chipped my shoulder bone! It’s 70 lbs. So a wide stance is required.
