I’m a native English speaker and a pretty damn good speller. I still want to write “hygeine” every time.

CoffeeDefiant4247•
naive because I don't have ï on my keyboard
GroundThing•
Palate. I always wind up either thinking there's two "l"s or mixing it up with palette (which I'll sometimes also mess up as palatte)
Also Weird, because it breaks the "'i' before 'e' except after 'c', unless pronounced like 'ay' as in 'neighbor' and 'weigh'" 'rule'.

Tetragrammaton, but I believe it’s niche enough so it can be excused lol (but just now I misspelled excuse a few times before my autocorrect corrected it lol).
But for more common word? I’m not sure, I rely quite a bit on autocorrect, and it’s been a while since I needed to write something it couldn’t help, and I don’t write too much on paper.
a3th3rus•
Canon and Cannon. I always forgot which is music and which is a weapon.

Vacuum. Are we sure the only letter we double is u?

I always have to double check myself when spelling collision. Like I was literally making notes for a physics class and I always misspell collision as colission. Thats not even an exaggeration tbh, I've misspelt it every time I can remember. Even when I go back to review notes I see myself misspelling it constantly.
BrockSamsonLikesButt•
I don’t even attempt spelling received. I write “rec’d” on deliveries I receive at work as I process their receipt.

Embarrass(ed/ment/ing). I’ve been a great speller since I was a little kid but for some reason that second ‘r’ is NEVER automatic for me.

relief always spell it like releif no matter what

Nostalgia... The more that I think about it, it's the only word I struggle with. I'm pretty good at spellings.
I can never remember the count of the consonants in *bizarre*.
-Datura•
Purpose and pleasant.
Reletr•
"pernamently". as a kid for whatever reason, having that p-m-n consonant sequence felt strange, so I swapped them around to be easier to say. also "renumeration" for the same reason
GrandAdvantage7631•
Suggestion
TerrorofMechagoji•
Tommororow
Idk how you’re supposed to spell it, but I know that’s not right. I’ve misspelled it so much that my phone autocorrects it to that
Legolinza•
I used to struggle with ’business’ (idk why)
I currently struggle with ’immediately’ and ‘definitely’ (again, not sure why)
I fully know how to spell ’maintenance’ but I still frequently spell it ’maintainance’ which I think is because thoughts are abstract so I have a loose thought about ’word for maintaining something’ and that causes the mash-up. I’m very annoyed at myself when I catch myself regardless of why it keeps happening

Nausea/nauseous + diarrhea. I either rely on autocorrect to fix it, or I have to google it

Tongue. Actually I think I finally learnt it earlier today as I typed it correctly first time. But earlier today I couldn't even get close enough for the spell checker to fix it for me, I was getting corrected to tong. Although some people seem to have the opposite problem: [https://i.pinimg.com/736x/bc/ff/78/bcff78ad2220880f7bc97ccde26190e5.jpg](https://i.pinimg.com/736x/bc/ff/78/bcff78ad2220880f7bc97ccde26190e5.jpg)
