What does rah mean??

context: basically i said ā€œthank god for thatā€ then ā€œnever mindā€(in a text message), since the guy im talking to is an atheist. later on another guy (not the atheist) said ā€œrahā€. im assuming this is something people say nowadays? if you know what that means please do tell me, and thank you.

How to describe changing water flow in shower?

Do you say "turn (the tap) to stronger/weaker water"? In my native language, we would say "turn / open / adjust to bigger / smaller water".

Is the word ā€˜chattering’ somewhat offensive?

English is not my first language, but I’m very much willing to learn. So I watched this youtube short, and I completely missed the joke. Why was everyone baffled by him saying ā€œare you ladies done chattering?ā€ Is it because of the word ā€˜chattering’? I thought it’s a normal looking, non-offensive word. Or maybe the moment when he said the word that made it offensive/irritating? One of the comment even pointed out that using the word ā€˜chattering’ instead of ā€˜chatting’ made it infinitely funnier. I don’t get it, please help!

Is it rude to say ā€œmy memory is not even good, haha.ā€ as a reply to an older person?

One day, I checked my work email and got an email from a sales representative who works with our company and I met her before (we have a relationship only as professional) She said sorry for such a late reply to my email I sent weeks ago and said that she is getting old and her memory is failing her. So, I wanted to say something nicer and don’t worry about the late reply, but from the lack of my English and as a joke, I ended up saying ā€œ no problem at all, thank you for the follow-up. My memory is not even good, haha.ā€ And then, I didn’t get a reply back from her. It’s been 2days and I’m starting to feel anxious if I made her feel bad by saying that. Please let me know your thoughts and how else I could’ve responded to her and I’d like to understand if it was inappropriate to say.

is it common to say "something leave a nasty taste in the mouth"?

I want to explain my feelings after the ending of a book. The ending is really sad and devastating, it gives some unpleasant feelings. if I translate it from my mother language, it's "to leave residue" or "to leave a nasty taste in the mouth".
