Do people find difficult listening this accent?

Hi there! I’m trying to improve my listening skill, but I find this podcast really difficult to understand. Is it normal? What kind of accent is this? I often watch streamings and videos on youtube and twitch, which I usually understand without effort. https://youtu.be/miBv33a1Lh8?si=nZZHoWImSc8pF4Q4 What should I do? Thanks guys!

Why is "Tell the story again" correct? How? Doesn't "tell" often take a person? Shouldn't it be "say" without person?

I've been learning English on Duo for 1.5 years now and I feel like I'm making very slow progress.

I'm from China, I'm 35 years old, I've been studying English for so long and I got 36 points on Duo. How should I plan my subsequent study? Can anyone give a little advice?

"I hated them for they were so phony" is that correct English? I heard it from Kurt Cobain

What does "tribal chops" and "slap around" mean in here?

What does "tribal chops" and "slap around" mean in here?

I did research and I guess "tribal" in here means "showing solidarity" and "chops" is a controversial gesture originating in Native American community. So in this context does it mean something like some people are too invested in the echo chamber of community that they are losing the plot? Also what does "slap around" mean?

Do you agree with "to clarify" ?

Do you agree with "to clarify" ?

From my knowledge, to clarify means you're the one providing information that's potentially unclear, and you want to make it clear

Does this sentence sound dirty?

I'm reading a book about natural hazards. The topic is flash floods, but I am unsure if it sounds weird out of context. "..., peak discharge can be reached in less than 10 minutes."
