I belive my history teacher wrongfull marked my answer
So basically we had an exam on the american civil right movement and it was an essay type. The first question was "what can you infer from this image" and my answer was "from source A i can infer that the black student has faced this before. I inferred this due to the receptive calmness on her face even though onlookers shout or look in disgusts. This implies that such astonishing behaviour has become routine for her. Intern this perfectly captivates how rude behaviour was just , as long as it was against a person of colour " and for context i am in year 8 or the 7 grade. The question was out of ten and i got a whopping one. And he said the correct answer was " From source A i can infer that white people opposed racial intergration"
How "gutter" used as a verb? What does it mean?
I know that a noun means something connected to dirtier/lower parts of plumbing or just slums, but what does it mean TO gutter as a verb? When something or someone "gutters"? I am reading an english book now and came along the sentence "the bulb in the bedside light guttered like a living flame." 🤔🤔🤔

What's your first instinct when you come across a new English word or phrase?
Watching a movie or web series on Netflix and you come across a new word or phrase in the subtitles? Likewise, when you are catching up with the news on portals like BBC, CNN or news aggregators like MSN? It is a no-brainer that most of us would either Google Search the meaning or open a Dictionary app. What are the steps you'd take to remember the word or phrase better?
No motivation to learn English
Hello there. No motivation to learn English Because of the news about the rapid development of AI, I lose the desire to continue learning English. I live in Estonia, I am learning the language for work, and in every news they say that soon AI will take 50% of all intellectual work, that in a year there will be 100% online translators in real time, devices, neurolink, etc. I am demotivated. What should I do?
Why did they make the title 'A Minecraft Movie'?
I'm specifically questioning about the indefinite article (a) usage here. What message are they trying to get across by making the title like that instead of '**The** Minecraft Movie'? This is different from many other movies adapted from games, like how 'Angry Birds' is adapted to '**The** Angry Birds Movie' or 'Super Mario Bros.' to '**The** Super Mario Bros. Movie'. Can somebody explain? Also feel free to correct my English!

Does these sound natural? How would you put it? Thanks.
1 “When it comes to making friends, I just let nature take its course. I don’t like forcing it.” 2.”For making friends, I just let nature take its course. I don’t like forcing it.” 3. “I don’t like pushing it when I make friends. I just let things happen naturally.”

Do I refer to a letter with he or it?
I‘m practicing my English skills with Duolingo and it keeps correcting me, when I refer to „the letter“ with „it“. I thought that things are always gender neutral in English, so why is a a letter supposed to be „he“? Am I wrong and if yes, can someone explain why?
