Plural of fiber

Hi guys! I was reading a table about constituents of grain seeds and a column name says "Fibres"; inmediately, my brain sent me a message that there was a mistake, but there is no mistake. Just realized the term fiber has two slightly speelling differences according to the country in the context of nutrition Word in USA : Fiber Plural: fibers Word in UK: Fibre Plural: fibres Is it the same with the other context ? because also a fiber is "a thread or filament from which a vegetable tissue, mineral substance, or textile is formed", in this case would be the same as the first case to form the plural?

Photo Shoot or Photo Shooting

As far as i understand, a SHOOTING is when guns are involved, and a SHOOT is when cameras do the work. However, one of my students from Miami told me they also use SHOOTING to refer to a photo shoot. Has anyone found this in the wild? Since in Miami english is not the first language of a lot of people, they may have this particular usage

“My account has a 20 dollar credit ON it.” “I put 20 dollars IN my account.” Are prepositions correct here?

I did my homeworks. Is my accent still incomprehensible?

Hi folks, I posted [a few months ago](https://www.reddit.com/r/EnglishLearning/comments/1gi31go/is_my_accent_truly_incomprehensible/) to share a video I made on which I had received a few comments stating that my accent was 'incomprehensible' and that they would rather 'listen to AI voices' than mine. Many people replied to my post with good advices and here I am two months later, asking you to assess if I have progressed. I mainly focused on pronounciation : once my script is written, I go through it to highlight which part should be stressed and focus on that when recording. Also I tried to slow down a lot. Here's my last video to listen to (btw it deals with Star Wars): [https://youtu.be/T9mReOpd\_3A?si=OzHWbL66NuvjiiSi](https://youtu.be/T9mReOpd_3A?si=OzHWbL66NuvjiiSi) Cheers

I've watched an interview of John Textor and really enjoyed his accent. I find it clear and easily understandable. Is it the typical Midland accent ?

I have some doubts

1. If Jack had started from the hotel on time, he *would have not* missed the flight. Shouldn't it be "would not have", or when is (modelverb + primary verb + not) structure allowed? 2. *Should you wish* to join our party, you must let us know by the end of the day. Is it the same as saying "If you wish", and if so, can this be used in the place of "should you wish"? # In each of the following sentences, which of these two should be used, also are there are instances when the use of both AMONG & BETWEEN is allowed? 3. The books were distributed (among/between) the three girls. 4. The books were distributed (among/between) the two of them. 5. The books were distributed (among/between) Jack, Tom, and Rose. 6. The books were distributed (among/between) Jack and Tom. Thank you!
